Interface Consultancy Services

Consultancy can have different meaning for different people so lets just outline what it means to us, and what it could mean to you.
To start with, a lot of Communication Companies, especially if they have large overheads, set monthly targets for their sales teams to meet. The individual members of these teams are made aware that failure to meet targets can mean the end of their employment with the company. Being under such pressure to perform can result in a conflict of interests between themselves and their customers.
One of two things tends to happen under these circumstances. Firstly, the salesman will try and sell whatever they can to guarantee themselves the best possible margins, or secondly they will resort to selling whatever they can get away, regardless of its suitability, as long as it fits into their customers budgetary guidelines, and means they get the deal. When this happens, its not till the Communication Companies project management or engineering teams come to ask the customer what their specific requirements are and later tell them they can not be achieved with the equipment they have brought, that they realize their best interests were not given top priority.
It is our policy to sell the correct solution to our customers, based on their specific needs. We feel strongly that when buying any new equipment, whether it's a whole new communications package or merely an add-on peripheral item, that our customers should be given a choice of products that can deliver the type of service and performance that best meets with their requirements in today's fast changing, communications marketplace.
For us, this is where real consultancy comes into play. Without spending time listening to our customers and gaining a full understanding of what they hope to gain from their communications equipment, how could we ever hope to achieve the targets we set ourselves in our sales policy above. The promise we make to our customers is that all advise and consultancy we give is based purely on these simple but proven values.

INSTALLATION

We have a highly skilled team of trained and certified telecommunications engineers. Their job is to ensure that your new product is installed quickly and correctly with the minimum possible disturbance to your business, and that it is fully set-up to your specifications and requirements.

The installation process begins with our pre install site survey to assess the work involved. We then plan the installation process coordinating with you and any other relevant supplier/s.

During the installation our project management skills mean we ensure that we complete each phase on time and within the agreed parameters.

Our engineers not only understand the complexities of the technology, each one is trained in customer service skills too. So you will find the onsite team friendly, helpful, and courteous, as well as technically expert.

You will also find that we put particular emphasis on punctuality to keep to the agreed timetable, but are also flexible to accommodate any unforeseen changes to the schedule that you might need to make.

After installation is complete our post install survey provides a total site-wide triple checked for you before hand over.

TRAINING
(The importance of good effective training)

The final stage of any system or communications package installation is the training stage. The training that you receive on the equipment you have invested in, is in-fact one of if not the most important phase of the whole project.

It is quite easy to spend a lot of time and effort on consultancy, decide on a solution that meets all your requirements (technically and budgetary), have the whole installation go exactly to plan with good project management, and then have it all end in disappointment when the training you receive doesn't provide you with the necessary skills to operate the new equipment at a level where you can really experience the benefits.

It's true to say that a poor system package used by a company that can operate it to its full potential, can work far more effectively than a company who have a new "state of the art" communication solution, but have never really undergone any effective training to provide them with the necessary tools to use it properly.

We construct a specific training program for each one of our new installation projects, targeting all equipment, software and cabling infrastructure.
We work closely with you through our project management processes to agree times and dates for all training schedules. We outline the exact objective of each training session for later evaluation.
We carry out foundation training (usually to key members of staff) during the installation process. This basic training is an informal, hands on approach and helps develop an early understanding of the products purchased, and the way they go together. It makes later training far more effective and is carried out at various key stages of the installation.
Depending on the degree of training required on particular projects, we can involve the equipment manufacturers and suppliers directly. Provisions can be made to bring them to your offices to deliver specific training or the same service can be made available to you at their own training facilities.
Part of the task of handing over our installation to you as a completed project is to get you to sign a document stating that you are happy with the training you have received. At this point we sit down and discuss the whole project with you and in particular, the training you as a company have undergone, and if it has lived up to your expectations. Only if the answer to that question is yes, do we feel we have completed our job and are willing to accept the signed handover document from you.
We like to keep in-touch with our customers on a regular basis to ensure they are happy and have no problems. If additional or refresher training proves to be a requirement for you, we can organize this to be tailor made to meet your particular needs.
